The world is incontestably a richer place because of WILLIE DIXON’S musical contributions alone. Believing that his work was not yet finished, Dixon devoted much of his time in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s to the organization he founded, BLUES HEAVEN FOUNDATION. His vision was to allow the echoes of great American Blues to continue to develop, to encourage a new generation of blues greats and to provide for the on-going welfare of senior Blues musicians.

News and events

Please support the Blues Heaven Foundation

During these difficult times on our planet today,

Willie Dixon’s Blues Heaven Foundation understands that we have all been affected in so many ways.

It’s not easy to know what to say, or what to do.

Sometimes, music says exactly what we'd like to say. Sometimes, music says exactly what we need to hear.

With your help, through your donations, and our wonderful sponsors, we have continued the restoration of this truly legendary landmark. The studio where so many artists brought music to our ears and hearts, including Etta James' recording of “At Last", and Chuck Berry's "Johnny Be Goode", which with the help of the satellite Voyager has now traveled beyond the solar system!

With your support, we hope to bring music to the world again from the studio where their songs, and so many others, changed music heard around the world, and even beyond the stars.
