The world is incontestably a richer place because of WILLIE DIXON’S musical contributions alone. Believing that his work was not yet finished, Dixon devoted much of his time in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s to the organization he founded, BLUES HEAVEN FOUNDATION. His vision was to allow the echoes of great American Blues to continue to develop, to encourage a new generation of blues greats and to provide for the on-going welfare of senior Blues musicians.

Although the label, founded by brothers Leonard and Phil Chess in 1950 has since been dissolved, the voices and music of so many legendary artists it brought to us is still heard and loved throughout the world, and even beyond the stars.

Unfortunately, we were unable to celebrate the
70th Anniversary of Chess together.
So, please join us on June 4, 2021, for a special event to celebrate the  71st Anniversary of the historic
Chess Records!

Happy 71st Anniversary Chess Records!

Stay Safe everyone!  We hope to see you soon!

We Appreciate your support!

Please support the Blues Heaven Foundation

During this difficult time on our planet today, we at

Willie Dixon’s Blues Heaven Foundation understand that we are all affected in many ways. It’s not easy to know what to say, or what to do. Sometimes music says what we want to say in ways without words. Sometimes music says exactly what we need to hear.
We are hoping to support everyone during this difficult time by providing assistance to artists, while bringing everyone the opportunity to hear their music from a place that changed music heard around the world.
With your support, we will be able to continue restoration of this truly legendary landmark, and soon bring music to the world again from this iconic space where so many artists brought music to our ears and hearts, including Etta James' recording of “At Last", and Chuck Berry's "Johnny Be Goode", which with the help of the satellite Voyager has now travelled beyond the solar system!
It is with great pride that we now embark on the final phase of the restoration... The Studio. The studio where their songs, and so many others, changed music heard around the world and even beyond the stars.
We thank you for your support and we wish everyone peace, love, and health.
